Our gallery in Truchas, New Mexico, is open from May through October. At other times, we welcome requests for an appointment to visit us, on the Scenic High Road to Taos.
Truchas is an unspoilt village perched atop the mountains in northern New Mexico, with amazing views across the canyons and hills towards the west. The Scenic High Road to Taos goes through the outskirts of the village, and has some of the most beautiful scenery in the area as it passes through the pine forests, little farming communities, high ridges and lush valleys.
On these pages you can see some examples of innovative art from the three of us:
Lise Poulsen: elegant and creative manipulations of fibre.
Nick Beason: refreshing and colourful twists on the commercial representation of our culture in his new direction monotypes.
Jim Stoner: inspired ironwork from Jim's Blue Magic Forge - furniture that makes a statement and sculpture for inside and outside your home.
Nick and Jim also collaborate on beautiful tables: Nick's interpretation of Japanese motifs inlaid in wood pair perfectly with Jim's ironwork bases. The craftmanship in these masterpieces is evident in their quality.
Come and visit our gallery in Truchas - just two doors down from the local gathering place, the Back Roads Bar and Bistro, and next to the general Store.
Warmly and creatively,
Lise, Nick, and Jim
